Three of the four characters are filled to the brim with personality and quips that never seem to get old. Portal 2 is a masterful display of narrative interwoven with comedy. Portal 2 did everything it needed to to close off the franchise in a satisfying way. But simply because Portal 3 is unnecessary. And not because they are ‘afraid’ to release a game with a 3 in the title. Then Why won’t there be a Portal 3? But not because Valve won’t make as much money off of it as they would Steam. As with all the playable characters in the Half-Life universe, with the exception of Alyx Vance, Chell is silent.
